Messier Than It Looks
Don't try to infer anything about Underfist from this. Everything you see here was cut from the film, which is one of the reasons I put it up here. I also did it because I always think it's cool to see how other people work.
I do a lot of cutting and pasting and opening files to take color swatches from, so I usually end up with a big pile of useless files mucking up the background, but that doesn't put a dent in my love for working with Photoshop on the Cintiq. Everything here was drawn on the Cintiq in Photoshop, cleaned up by Frank Homiski (Billy & Mandy's cleanup O.G.), and then colored in Photoshop.
iTunes keeps me sane, while Google lets me reference almost anything I need in an instant. Or distracts me with nerd forums, video games, and scandalous photos. Ah, technology...

Proof of Life
So I'm alive. And I've been Doing Stuff. Really! See?
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Guess I haven't been on much if I'm just getting them now, eh? That whole "Occasional Monster of the Day" thing turned out to be real occasional... Most of my year so far has been taken up pitching shows and working on Underfist. I'm also totally disgustingly, grossly, hideously in love. That eats up some time, it seems. Yeah, I didn't know I had it in me either. Needless to say, she's one lucky gal.
I can't tell you about any of the pitches because I have no idea what's going on with that yet. What I can say is that Underfist is awesome. I know there are a lot of skeptics. And I love skeptics, because I'm a skeptic. Well, more of a curmudgeon. A CN executive friend of mine said that Underfist is better than Big Boogey Adventure. The scary part is that I think I agree with him. So that either means that I've learned something or I got lucky. Either way, this coming Halloween you get something fun to watch!
The next few months will involve more pitching, a few surprises, a wedding (no, not mine), and jury duty, but hopefully I'll check back once or twice. Maybe there'll even come a point when I can share some of the artwork I've done!
