Messier Than It Looks

Don't try to infer anything about Underfist from this. Everything you see here was cut from the film, which is one of the reasons I put it up here. I also did it because I always think it's cool to see how other people work.

I do a lot of cutting and pasting and opening files to take color swatches from, so I usually end up with a big pile of useless files mucking up the background, but that doesn't put a dent in my love for working with Photoshop on the Cintiq. Everything here was drawn on the Cintiq in Photoshop, cleaned up by Frank Homiski (Billy & Mandy's cleanup O.G.), and then colored in Photoshop.

iTunes keeps me sane, while Google lets me reference almost anything I need in an instant. Or distracts me with nerd forums, video games, and scandalous photos. Ah, technology...

Why where those cut from the film? I mean, the crab sure is cool. (are those fred fredburger, skarr, hoss and... a crab?)

Photoshop, eh? Jesus those people have to be rich.

Sane? Yeah, right...
Technology is the source of all evil. It destracts people from what is actually happening. There could be a civil war outside the window and nobody would recognize if it wasn't for TV and Internet (and at a minimal rate: Gossip). Not that I'd know...

Yep. There IS a site that offers all of the B&M episodes for sale. That's called "video piracy". But I guess since I haven't seen one red cent from any DVD sales, CN must've sold zero official Season 1 DVDs and therefore you may as well go buy 'em all from that dude with the Tivo and the DVD burner.

More than one episode of Underfist? Didn't I tell you not to try and infer anything?

I loved Planet Terror. I was pissed that we both have a character with an artificial leg, but that's really the only comparison you can make. Aside from the fact that both Planet terror and Underfist are a lot of fun. And Hoss is WAY hotter than Rose McGowan. Anyone with me? No? Anyone? Bueller?

I won't be starting up a Deviant Art page anytime soon. One blog is more than enough for me!

Hey, Mr. Atoms. I just saw the new post over at the KND Production Blog(http://kidsnextblog.livejournal.com/41383.html) and was wondering if that[Burning DVDs of the series for the crew of the show] was a common practice, and if you did it with Billy and Mandy.

P.S. Underfist is looking better and better every blog update! Can't wait for October!

Nope. It's Not Cartoon Neteork Studios' policy to let DVD copies out the door. I get a set and the producer gets a set. I think I still have a few of mine, but I'm not very organized with my DVD piles.

And I have to take back the it about not getting a single cent for the Season 1 DVD. I did get one check for that. It's Big Boogey that's missing from the radar. I'm sure it'll all get worked out by 2020 or so...

Wow, you have a Cintiq too? Mine is the 21ux. A big sucker with lots of goodies to play with. It comes bundled with Photoshop Elements 4 and Corel Paint. I'm still trying to get used to using the 21ux for inking and painting; just picking out a good brush was tricky. BTW, have you tried the felt nib for the grip pen? It makes inking feel more natural and enhances the thick/thin line. Anyway, great work, dude, love "Grim", and I really appreciate the encouragement and insight you put into your blog.

Amazing. Sorry that all this stuff had to be cut. Why couldn't it have been 66 or 90 minutes. Anyway, it's their loss.
