Proof of Life

So I'm alive. And I've been Doing Stuff. Really! See?

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Guess I haven't been on much if I'm just getting them now, eh? That whole "Occasional Monster of the Day" thing turned out to be real occasional... Most of my year so far has been taken up pitching shows and working on Underfist. I'm also totally disgustingly, grossly, hideously in love. That eats up some time, it seems. Yeah, I didn't know I had it in me either. Needless to say, she's one lucky gal.

I can't tell you about any of the pitches because I have no idea what's going on with that yet. What I can say is that Underfist is awesome. I know there are a lot of skeptics. And I love skeptics, because I'm a skeptic. Well, more of a curmudgeon. A CN executive friend of mine said that Underfist is better than Big Boogey Adventure. The scary part is that I think I agree with him. So that either means that I've learned something or I got lucky. Either way, this coming Halloween you get something fun to watch!

The next few months will involve more pitching, a few surprises, a wedding (no, not mine), and jury duty, but hopefully I'll check back once or twice. Maybe there'll even come a point when I can share some of the artwork I've done!

Awesome! I can't wait for Underfist.

Although I suppose I will have to. =(

But hey, good things are worth waiting for. =)

Anyway, kudos on the other good stuff going on in your life.

Glad to hear you're hard at work. I'm really hyped about Underfist and I'm sure my hyperness will only heighten as October draws nearer.

Ah, the DVDs. I wish I could tell you there'd be a Season 2 DVD. I can tell you that we shot some more "behind the scenes footage" for a Season 2 DVD. I imagine when it finally comes out people will be making fun of my turn-of-the-century haircut. In other words... I don't think it's gonna happen.

If CN hasn't put out a full Powerpuff set, they sure as heck ain't gonna put out B&M.

That's one mighty tongue that dinosaur has!
It's great to see you're up and breathing. Congratulations on falling head over heels in a gooey mass of sticky love! (Ah, love makes the world turn n' turn.)

No... Season 2? That makes me sad. Really, Cartoon Network should at least have the episodes up somewhere so we can download them. Cartoon Network really doesn't like the idea of making profits, huh?

By the way, did you come to WonderCon this year? I did not see you there.
I do remember seeing you at ComicCon though, admiring that neon green tie you were wearing, and me becoming unbelievably pink in the face out of sheer enthusiasm and excitement. I liked that tie...

Anyway, I wish happy days to you!

What's wrong with CN. Why don't they have their hit shows like Powerpuff on DVD. Yet for some reason they have Fosters and soon, My Gym Partner's A Monkey on DVD. If the Second Season Billy and Mandy doesn't come out (but I hope it does) I hope (it is a weak hope) that they'll let you put the bonus features on your blog.

If CN doesn't want the expense of a DVD, why don't they make the shows available for paid download through iTunes? It's simple, it's easy, they don't have to spend any money on marketing, packaging, distribution, etc. It's not the same quality as DVD, but it sure would be better than nothing!

Hey look! I just checked iTunes.... and Cartoon Network has shows for download there! Chowder, Foster, Lazlo, etc. But not Billy & Mandy!

It's just not fair.

Maybe Billy & Mandy is too cool for iTunes. That's probably it.
