Skeletons in the closet. And other junk.

Sometimes when the world is spinning violently out of control, you've got to create your own little piece of chaos. Something you've got control over. I think that's why, on top of everything else going on, I finally decided to have my master bathroom redone. I've been saving for it for years, but I've always been too busy or too lazy or too wrapped up in something else. But it's happening as we speak!

A lot of people have asked me for details about myself, especially on MySpace (yeah, I bumped off my MySpace account. What'cha gonna do about it? Write me here, I hope). I've always felt like you can tell a lot about people from their possessions. Mostly their clutter. So, since I'm normally pretty reserved with personal info, I thought I'd let you have a peek at a random assortment of crud from my bedroom that's been moved into another room in the house. Can you find evidence that I once stood 6'5"? Hints of a budding romance with Sgt. Frog? Artifacts from Billy & Mandy? Waldo?

Let's see the junk in your trunks, yo!

*P.S. - To anyone who's read the full Dark Tower series... what do I do!? I haven't read the last book yet and I'm a bit afraid to. I feel like it peaked with Wizard and Glass, which I think might be one of King's best stories ever. Mostly for the flashback story, and not so much the weird postmodern Wizard of Oz bits. Do I stop where King says I might want to? Or do I read through to the bitter end?

That was all really in your room? Wow! I just put all of my crap laying around in a bunch of boxes and put all of them in my closet. I Can't wait till october! UnderFist is going to be awsome! Do you really think it is your best work yet? It looks awsome! I am starting middle school in 4 days. x_x I will be 13 in obout 3 weeks. NOT GOOD! I am still as short as a 2'nd Grader (sadly No, it is not a joke people.) Well I will stop bugging you now. 7'th Grade, here I come.

hey, 13 is fine. you don't want to be it until you are it and then you realize the change is so subtle you won't notice until it's too late.

Glad to see the Frank Herbert books right up front. I`ve read them all as well. I have always enjoyed your Dune references in Billy and Mandy, especially the greatest episode of all time: "My Fair Mandy" which used the Gom Jabbar test on Mindy, and the one when future Mandy morphed in a worm.

Dude, you have the makings of a wickedass garage/yard sale! :D My mind is boggled by the fact that all of this was in your bedroom.

Most I know would never be brave enough to show something this personal of themselves, so I tip my hat to you!

PS - Is it October yet?? (Heh.)

I'm very close to achieving that level of clutter in my room, and I'm not even out of high school yet. Give it a couple years and my own apartment. :)

And on the Dark Tower...I've read the entire series, and most people believe the Dark Tower peaked with Wizard and Glass; I do too. Most people also give up right around Book 3. Having gone ahead and read Book 7, Song of Susannah is an acceptable ending to the series; you can stop there if you need to. But goshdarn it, you've made it this far. Don't you *want* to take it through to the bitter end?

Whether or not you like it, I will promise this. The last book reads like three. You will not be able to put it down. (There I was, dutifully following my parents around in Home Depot with an 800 page book cracked open below my face...) And the ending will absolutely blow you away.

Dude, you've got some cool stuff. I like all the neat retro items laying around and I recognize a lot of the books. It would be pretty awesome if you could wear that TV that looks like a space helmet. Although seeing might be an issue and the screen would be on the outside...

Also, props for the Gigan figure. I always liked Gigan. Godzilla geek alert: that's his design from Godzilla: Final Wars! Reminds me of the references in Billy and Mandy, like the episode Giant Billy and Mandy All Out Attack and the "Monster Island" coaster ride in Big Boogey Adventure..

Anyway, thanks for showing us your stuff. It's always interesting to see how other people work and live!

Oops.. I completely missed that Anguirus figure to the left of Gigan. I don't know why I felt compelled to leave another comment just to mention that.

Pick up the comic version of The Dark Tower: Gunslinger Born. It is really gorgeous!

I used to have a habit of cutting and/or dying my hair whenever the external chaos got too invasive. Then I realized that I was doing it to trick myself into thinking I had some control over my life. The trick doesn't work anymore. :(

Is that a giant plush hoss? ... Awesome!
Is the Triky episode inspired by the christine movie or book?
I never took you for the Seargent Keroro type.
Is that book that reads alchemy a successful guide? If so, can I borrow it?
what's that for a big silver ball on the far bottom-ish right?
What's in the boxes?
Why do have batteries fluttering about?
Did you have to sell your soul for tat TV?
Am I asking to many questions?
Can I ask you one more thing?
Will you have a yard sale across the street?

Naw, it's the puppet from "Guess What's Coming to Dinner?"

>> Is the Triky episode inspired by the christine movie or book?

Kinda yes. Only Trikey's meaner.

>> I never took you for the Seargent Keroro type.

You'll find I'm full of surprises.

>> Is that book that reads alchemy a successful guide? If so, can I borrow it?

No. Those dark secrets must remain hidden from mortal eyes.

>> what's that for a big silver ball on the far bottom-ish right?

Actually, a big silver ball.

>> What's in the boxes?

Human skin.

>> Why do have batteries fluttering about?

I believe batteries should be free to pursue their own desires.

>> Did you have to sell your soul for tat TV?

Just my body.

>> Am I asking to many questions?

Tangerine.

>> Can I ask you one more thing?

As long as it's not a question.

>> Will you have a yard sale across the street?

I did. Unfortunately that put it in the middle of a ditch. Nobody came.

>> Love your art...interesting stuff here, how come nobody mentioned what seems to be some sort of "smoking device” in the corner? Am I seeing things..it would explain the shoes :)

With a neck bigger than a sneaker? That WOULD be a helluva thing.

I really need to figure out how to reply to individual comments...
