Talk to the Fist.

Here's a treat (or trick) for the coming month; I can finally talk about Underfist's premiere date. I've been told it'll be airing this one time widescreen, so the first showing does have a little something extra, even though it'll probably repeat several times up through Halloween.

Sunday, October 12th

Billy & Mandy Marathon:

2pm "Hoss Delgado: Spectral Exterminator/Educating Grim/The Crawling Niceness"

2:30pm "Skarred For Life/Bearded Billy"

3pm "Spider's Little Daddy/That's My Mummy"

3:30pm "My Fair Mandy"

4pm "Irwin Gets a Clue/Spider Mandy"

4:30pm "Keeper of the Reaper"

5pm "Guess What's Coming to Dinner?/Herbicidal Maniac"

5:30pm "Be a-Fred, Be Very A-Fred/King Tooten Pooten"

6pm "The Most Greatest Love Story Ever Told Ever/Dracula Must Die"

6:30pm "Billy & Mandy's Jacked Up Halloween

7pm "Underfist"

If you like Irwin, Hoss, Jeff, Skarr, Fred, and Dracula, you won't want to miss this one. And even if you hate all those guys it's still got Billy, Mandy, & Grim. And even if you hate them too it's got some crazy monsters and a different take on "action" than you're likely to see in a TV cartoon for a long while. And even if you hate all those characters and comedy and action and funny songs... well, I guess that's all I got. What're you doing on my blog, anyway!?

I make it a point never to ask favors from people, but I'm going to ask you for one right now; and that's watch it. The numbers on this one will decide whether or not anyone will get to see the fabulous sequels or a series in the future (such as Underfist -vs- the Dinosaurs above).

Hope you like what you see!

And here I thought I'd have to wait until Halloween!

I'll definitely be tuning in on the 12th. Thanks!

Would this be the same date as the Europe release? Or will us poor buggers have to wait longer?

I hope not, because I'm dying to see it!

This'll be awesome! I love the recurring characters! Starring roles=character development! Or at least a cartoon that'll tickle my funny bone. Either way, I'm sold.

Can't wait. I'll have to record it if I want to watch it in widescreen after the premiere since most Cartoon Network TV movies only premiere widescreen once. Hopefully there will be a DVD with a bunch of great extras.

CN is a bit slow on starting the promo on the Underfist Halloween Special. The 99 Cent Store has had the Halloween stuff out since the first week in September.

Is that Wilma and Betty on the dinosaur? One of them is holding a golden apple with a "K" on it. Does that mean it is Kosher?

Greetings Mr.Atoms from Europe ^_^

I'm curious. Is there transcripts for Bill n Mandy show or Evil Con carne ? I think that im not the only one who would like to read them. You would ask why , since there is great animation (and I really mean great , since i dont like animations very much). Answer is simple - My english ir pretty good , but I still dont understand all what i hear in thoose animations :] And getting Quotes in internet from your shows is pretty hard you know ;]

Since Im very very big fan of your works , I wonder if you could answer to some more question - Is there any upcoming show except for Underfist where I could see Fred Fredburger ? To be honest - thats my favourite character :D Im just in love with his cute and kinda childish actions, not even talkin about beeing happy about everything ^_^

Ps. Is there any other channel except for CN , where I'll be able to watch Underfist? I dont tv at home :(
Pss. If thats possible, you could answer to email D-G@inbox.lv ^_^

Finally!

The wait is nearly over! I'm glad they're having a B&M marathon before it -- previous to yesterday's re-airing of Big Boogey Adventure, it's been a long while since CN has shown any episodes. (& in my opinion, CN isn't the same without you.)

Would I be able to uh, promote this to the public myself? Or is that illegal? Meh, I'll tell my friends either way. I wouldn't mind making promo posters though.

Wow. I can't wait for this. I don't see Billy and Mandy much any more, and a marathon + Underfist will be awesome. Love the secondary characters and Oct 12 should be a hilarious day.

I would watch it, but sadly I live in the land of Canada where we don't get Cartoon Network.

...Maybe I'll see it on Teletoon in a year or two?

Man I've been waiting for this for ages and its finally here :D
But the best part is that since I live in Australia we usually get all the new cartoon network shows and movies a year later but not this time!!!!
We get underFIST the same time you guys do......well not excatally the same time, we get it on halloween (oct 31st) but that's better than a year later :)

also there is an EXTREMELY mini promo that is curently airing on CN AUS all you you see is irwin spinning around really fast and hits something, i'm not really sure coz it goes past so quickly!

OMG this is gunna be AWESOME :D

Thanks! I don't think CN will be the same without me either. In fact, it's already transforming into a very different place. Some of what's cooking looks interesting (and some doesn't), but I won't be part of it either way.

Nowhere else to see Underfist except on CN. Hopefully it'll eventually end up on a DVD.

That is Eris on the dinosaur. Both of them are, actually. I think I explained that in a previous blog somewhere down there...

All hail the great snake Shnissugah! Some day he will come back and eat all the cool kids. :-)

musta changed her hair. CN is usually better at putting their movies on DVD then they are with series, since its a standalone release that doesn't give them any obligations (examples, Re-Animated, Big Boogey Adventure, Powerpuff Movie)

Blogger ANDREA said...

My apologies for my previous comment, I let my excitement get the best of me! Can you tell us how long the episode will be? Is it gonna be more like a mini-movie? I really hope it's LONGER than just 30 minutes. Is it alright to start telling other people about this, or do we have to wait for commercials to start showing? Also, when you posted that one entry about the "watchers" who "watch" the "watchers" of The Underfist...is there a chance that it could maybe possibly become a SERIES? maybe? I really miss seeing Grim Adventures on CN. all the good cartoons seem to be DISAPPEARING...everyone seems to be trying too hard to be FUNNY nowadays...an answer from you would be appreciated! I want to do whatever i can to help! If you're too busy, i totally understand! FOREVER your loyal fan - ANDREA ^^

Hey Andrea.

Underfist is almost exactly an hour long. Without commercials. And you can tell whoever you want. And their mom. As for your other questions...

...dahhh... I 'unno!

bushida hacks- battle of the bands/little rock of horror/dream a little dream is on DVD so if you want to see it that badly you could buy the disk.

I'm worried though, because I'm way out in the middle of the pacific so I'm not exactly sure if it will be at the same time or later or earlier, I don't want to miss it.

October 12th, eh? *puts alarm for that date on her cell phone*

I'll make sure to actually watch it as it's premiering, too. Normally I tape things and watch them later (I'm a busy Senior in high school taking college level classes...it works better for me), but I don't know if doing that somehow hurts ratings. I mean, can/does CN know how many people are DVRing their shows?

Anyway, I can't wait. :)

Cartoon Network's been on a downward spiral since the Boston Bomb Scare forced the president of the network to resign. The channel's practice of cancelling original shows after 60 episodes is horrible, for one. We'll never get to see more episodes of B&M or Camp Lazlo. Underfist is a great treat and I'm happy CN let you go through with it.

But as of late, the channel seems to be lacking. [adult swim] is doing good with everything but anime, but anime as a whole seems to be on a decline (after all CN cancelled Toonami after 11.5 years of being on the air.) Shows like Clone Wars (even though I'm a Star Wars fan) just don't get my attention the way older CN shows like Cow & Chicken, Johnny Bravo and Ed, Edd n' Eddy did. I hope the numbers on Underfist let the network know that we love your work and would love to see more in the future.

I'd hate to see CN turn into what Nickelodeon eventually became, but I can see that's already happening :(

Max, after Underfist is a success with CN do you think you will do one more spinoff about Eris from Billy and Mandy? I really like her so much.
