Nothing really ends well, but I'm going to call this one a victory.

Although I hate to see great cartoons like this go, I'm glad it's ending now, on a good note, as opposed to other shows where it got really bad and then ended. So I'm definitely looking forward to the last few Billy & Mandy cartoons. Also, I hear Kari Wahlgren is the voice of the Spider Queen?

Hi, it's your friendly neighborhood stalker (not really, I don't have the time, money or psycosis for that). Your work is amazing...but truly, you're a friggin hottie! Has no one else noticed this??
I know you are not desperate for women, so I have no delusions you remembering me and thinking to yourself, "wow she is HOT, I should get to know her." So in reality I will stick to my torrid dreams ;-)

Ah. This is the "last" episode of Billy & Mandy.

Looks awesome from those past sketches and this.

Come to think of it, it is just in the spirit of the show that it would end with giant spiders eating everyone. But is it ending? Confirmation, I seek! Quotes, misleading, they are!

"Ending" is such a nasty word. I'll leave that a mystery for now, since it's a total mystery to me too...

Yes! Kari Wahlgren is the voice of the Spider Queen, and she totally rocked it!

And, also yes, if you're anonymous I definitely won't remember who you are. But thanks for not telling me I look like a big ugly butt.

It's sad to see it go, but I have a suggestion for the last line of the show. - Remember when Mandy opened an episode with "This is the end. Smash your television."? That would be the perfect ending.

I guess Jeff will play a good role in this one. I just know it. Why can't Hoss Delgado destroy Jeff, or for that matter ANY giant Spider? Could HE be scared of spiders? I mean, Spiders creep Prof. Utonium out, so he squashed one.

Love your work. It's really sad to see Billy and Mandy end (wait, that IS what's happening right? hope I'm wrong.) I was just actually looking for your website when I stumbled upon this blog. You're such a huge inspiration Maxwell, keep up the good work.

Is this realy going to be the end of Billy and Mandy. I hope not becuase this is the best show ever made. I hope your just playing around with us.

If by "end" you mean "end of the series", then yes. Cartoon Network doesn't go beyond 78 half hours of anything. Most of the time things don't go beyond 52. Actually, MOST of the time, they don't even get to 52.

But if you mean "end" like you'll never see Billy, Mandy, Grim and the gang again... then no. There'll be specials I'm sure. In fact, I can promise one amazing special coming up in about a year's time.

And I'll be working on other things. Things that aren't Billy & Mandy that I'm sure you'll hate and want to throw stones at me for.

not sure what you'll be getting into next but i'm sure it'll be great.

Sigh...It's true that all good things must come to an end.
That doesn't mean it's any fun.

3 cheers for Billy, Mandy, and their brilliant creator!

Spider Queen! Sounds like the perfect villain for the last episode, although I don't know why. I once won second place at a Halloween contest at a bar dressed as a spider queen. First place went to a pair of blondes dressed as school girls or nurses, I forget which.

I'll have to agree with anonymous that you're a hottie (although I haven't seen you in person and the cross-eyed photo casts some doubt on that... lol!).

And now you promise B&M specials?!? Hooray! Will there be many more DVD releases? Will you ever do a con in NYC so I can be a geek and get my DVD signed?

"And I'll be working on other things. Things that aren't Billy & Mandy that I'm sure you'll hate and want to throw stones at me for."

It would be fine as long as it's animation... for me, anyway. So is it?

I never understood why most shows and cartoons were set at a 52-episode limit. It's probably a really obvious reason that I'm missing.

I do always like seeing new things from creators though. I can't speak for everyone, of course, but I doubt I'd be a stone thrower in this situation.

So I deleted a few posts. You people can say whatever you'd like, but I'm not posting "Not Work Safe" links to stuff I can't even see from anonymous sources. Too many kids read this thing and I don't need to be linking to puppies getting punched in the face or anything. Sickos.

My WHOLE family watches your show and are all very sad to have heard that its going to end. Hopefully we will be able to watch your other works (if you do any), and are most likely going to buyy all the dvd releases. No, tv is not the only thing we do (we have jobs, im not being paranoid, whos paranoid!) Hopefully, the KnD crossover will be a good deal, and hopefully Cartoon Network ends your show with a big bang. So, im looking foward to it, my dad says otherwise. I will miss your horrid humor!

wow! thats a really good teaser poster! ive heard what you said about this not being the "End" since making an animated show is full of questions..or so iv read...anyway but i do know that its the end for along time! i trust your judgment (as you the one who created this incredible show) and i wont annoy you with the usual pleas of "No dont end it!" or "OMG dont end it its the best show eVER!!" so..anyway..im dying to see the Spider queen!..im just a fan with big dreams to one day be a Cartoon Network animator..by the way!

Dear Mr. Atoms,

I really loved working on your show. I look forward to seeing the finale.

Does Hoss get eaten by spiders too?

"I can promise one amazing special coming up in about a year's time."

Mr. Atoms, do you mean the KND/Billy&Mandy crossover or a super secret special that nobody knows? That would be awsome.

When you say:

"There'll be specials I'm sure. In fact, I can promise one amazing special coming up in about a year's time."

Do you mean the KND/Billy&Mandy crossover or a super-secret special?

On another note, its very, very sad to see Billy&Mandy go. Especially while at the same time my other favorites series, Ed Edd n' Eddy is having its series finale after the Movie. But hopefully, Chowder will replace the lost love of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

NOOOO!!! I will miss seing that rediculously big nose and Fredfred Burger's obssesion with nachos and frozen yogurt. All the good things are ending on Cartoon Network. Like Ed,Edd'n Eddy and codename kids next door. I do know that Billy and Mandy is having a cross over with codename kids next door. So is this the end of the series with the two ten year olds and the grim reaper who they enslaved. So the series is gonna end but Im looking forward to chowder. Will there be more specials to come though. They unfortuantly haven't had an Easter special yet :(.

It's not like its an end to the franchise, there's still hopes for a decent game, maybe a sporadic movie every now and then.

I just hope Mandy's evil nature is further explained.

Wow, ending eh?
And here I am without cable.
Yeah, I know I complain a lot but common man! I'm sure thing big end thing will be fanstastic, though I'll be sad to see the series go. Aw man, my foot fell asleep. Welp, back to painting. And hey, I need to call you for some personal advice soon.

Now you really broke my heart!
I love Mandy so much ( as you can see here and here ) She reminds me of myself as a child. ¬¬'
I'll miss her! Ok, I'll miss Billy and Grim too. But not Irwin! :)

Wow, ending huh? That's too bad. I don't understand why networks have a number of episodes they simply cannot exceed. I dig the show and characters and scenario quite a bit, not to mention I love Richard Horvitz and Grey DeLisle. Gotta make sure to give them cameos on whatever else you do. For me, okay?

Good luck with everything,
~Stephen

Hmm.. are they already starting to taper off the show? It doesn't seem to be on regularly anymore, but I don't watch TV that often so maybe I'm just mistaken. When can we expect DVDs? I'm completely excited, haha.

No offense, but that was the worst series finale I have ever seen! There wasn't much action and comedy shown. Billy Mandy: Wrath of the Spider Queen is a big joke and I don't mean that in a good way. The trailer was impressive, but the movie was awful! How could you end the show that way?! Billy And Mandy's big boogey adventure should have been the series finale! Maxwell Atoms I am very disappointed, I hope the knd crossover does better.

Spider Queen wasn't nearly as good as the special with Boogey. But it's a decent ending to an amazing cartoon show. I especially applaud your use of Voltair songs in the beginning of the one with Boogey xD
Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next show, It's gonna rock

It's sad to see this show go. Thankfully, you guys haven't dragged it out (a la' Ed, Edd, and Eddy) or started shamelessly adding characters for the sake of a 15 second appeal flash (I'm looking in your direction, Fairly Oddparents.)
On a high note, can't wait for Underfist!
