Life is a rollercoaster...

...and I think I might need to puke.

Been a while since I updated this thing. Sure I've been working. But what am I allowed to show you? I still don't know. I'll try and get something up soon for those of you who need visual stimulation.

In the mean time, for those of you who need mercantile stimulation, I give you confirmation that the Season 1 DVDs are coming out this fall. Also, Kay-Bee is selling some Billy & Mandy toys! This could indeed be a sign of the End Times.

The seasons are being broken down differently on the DVD than they were when we produced the show, so you actually get more episodes per DVD than I'd originally thought. That's good news for those of you who think the show didn't "peak" until later. And, hey... I'm one of you. What show peaks in its first season? The answer: A show that gets canceled after one season. Just ask any prime-time network sitcom from the last three years...

As for the extras, you get two half-hours of Evil Con Carne, some commentary featuring me and Billy (A.K.A. Richard Horvitz), a documentary where I make an ass of myself, and a couple of other fun bits including the "Virtual Mr. Snuggles".

I'm really happy with all of the extras we were able to get onto the DVD, and you know how I feel about being "really happy". Another sign of the End Times?

I am nearly having an orgasm right now. lol haha too graphic? Well thats why you moderate your comments first right? ;) Seriously though I am sooo happy to hear all that great news! I cannot wait for it. I just know that commentary is gonna be classic. :0) (that's supposed to be Billy)

Yes! I can't wait since I just recently had to cancel my trip to Comic Con coming up next month. I have to get my Grim Adventures fix somehow.

Awesome!

...okay, I'll just go ahead and be the one to ask the question: what Evil Con Carne episodes are we getting? Are they the first ones, the second season ones written by Carl Greenblatt & Co that aired once at an ungodly hour and noone was able to see, or what?

Waitwaitwait, the actually somewhat more important question! I just checked, and there were exactly 12 Evil Con Carne half-hours produced. So, is there gonna be two ECC half-hours in every B&M set, just like this one? Considering there's six seasons, it would be nice not having to buy both shows on DVD.

There. I hope I don't feel the urgent need to send a third question.

You're really going all out with this DVD. Thanks a lot.

I know you mentioned that 'Spider Queen' is meant to be the Billy and Mandy series ending. Thing is, Cartoon Network is gonna be airing that first before the remaining TV episodes. Any comments on that?

I'm hazzarding a guess that the split-up rescrambled versions of Billy and Mandy's first episodes that currently air on CN (or the first season according to this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Grim_Adventures_of_Billy_and_Mandy_episodes) are the ones that are going to appear on the DVD.

If that's the case, Oh, Well. The Original Grim and Evil format and opening would've been nice to have, but it wasn't essential, and the inclusion of an hour of the stand-alone Evil show is the next best thing. Plus the bonus features sound fun

Well, needless to say being a MASSIVE fan of Billy and Mandy ever since the first time I saw that very first cartoon, I'm really excited about this! But just out of interest, will Warner Home Video release this boxset in the UK as well? I know you proberbly saw me ask this before but I just really *had* to ask again (don't worry I promise this'll be the very last time I'll ask this question). XD

From, Eric.

P.S I wonder what the "Virtual Mr. Snuggles" feature does. XD

It might be worth spending the money on DVDs just for the clips of you "making an ass out of" yourself :)

PS: Casey got a new cell phone!
I can take pictures and everything. Hello future!

It's not the End Times, it's the beginning of the next Adventures of Maxwell!

Even if it is the end, at least you had fun right?

And about it's peak. Let's just say I used to hate this show until about 3 years ago, and then I watched it again and loved it.

More Comical violence, and disgusting faces = a wonderful show.

Yay! I love DVDs! I hate it when my favorite shows don't come out on season DVDs. This is going on my list of Stuff to Buy, along with Heroes season 1.

Hm. I'm iffy on a dvd. I'll buy it, watch it straight through, then be bored with it. I'm tired of Family Guy because of this.

Who'm I kidding? I love commentaries. I'll have a total squeegasm.

HELLA. I've been waiting for this for literal years. Oh god the extras look so full of creamy nougat. Why must you release them just as I go into college :( I'm going to need to make more time to revel!!!

The poster isn't up yet, but the trailer is? Weird. I hope the DVD ends up on Netflix. It probably will, as Netflix has several Cartoon Network DVDs, including Billy and Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure. I'll enjoy this not because I loved the first season, but I haven't seen most of the first season episodes in years, and a reunion would be nice. What will the virtual Mr.Snuggles do? And what do you mean by "end times"?

Technically I believe there are about 15 half hours of Evil Con Carne so I'm guessing there will be two half hours of ECC for seasons 1-6 anfd three half hours for season 7. Oh and also YAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!! I am a die hard fan of Billy and Mandy and have been waiting for this for ages!
